Oh To Be Wise Meditations

All your hard work will not satisfy you. All your selfish desires will leave you empty. God cuts a hole in your pocket of your heart that makes you need more than what this world, this life can offer. You need God more than everything else. So that when things fall out of your pocket, you can depend on God to fill the need in the way only He can. Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. I will be glad and rejoice in Your loving devotion, for You have seen my affliction; You have known the anguish of my soul. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. No matter the need or tribulation I am facing, more of God is the answer. Jesus is my only hope for real satisfaction.
