Oh To Be Wise Meditations
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed. I am dull sword in need of sharpening in every area of my life. God became man in Christ so that He could cut closer to our hearts. We need to be ironed DAILY by the Spirit of Christ. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Let God's saving power be like a helmet, and for a sword use God's message that comes from the Spirit.
