Oh To Be Wise Meditations
An old expression I read recently God save you is an awesome blessing. Listen to its meaning: Said when saying goodbye to someone, to say that you hope good things will happen to them. May God rescue, preserve, or guard (a person or thing) from danger or harm. Help avoid the spending, waste, or loss of (money, possessions, etc. I can't think of no better blessing to give someone than this. I am going to bring it back again, people need God to save them. People need the LORD. Here are some famous quotes, “We need God as much in the calm as in the storm.” Jack Hyles . “The servant is nothing, but God is everything.” Harry Ironside “May I never forget that on my best day I still need God as desperately as I did on my worst day.” As for me, since I am poor and needy, let the Lord keep me in his thoughts. You are my helper and my savior. O my God, do not delay. Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me, and set me free. In You, O LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; save me by Your righteousness. God save you.
