Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Lord, I will tell people about your justice. I will not be afraid to speak out and share the good news that you saved us. How can I hide your righteousness in my heart? Your faithfulness and salvation is exhilarating, its impossible to conceal your constant love and truth. I am not ashamed of the Gospel, the message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. The Lord was wise and decided not to let the people of this world use their wisdom to learn about him. Instead, He chose to save only those who believe the foolish message of the Cross. The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to them, and they cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The Lord judges and punishes us, he does it to keep us from being condemned with the rest of the world. Jesus, thank you for the Gospel, help me to humbly share it with my neighbor.
