Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Everyone has value. And every person deserves to hear the Gospel in a way or language they understand. The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind. For in him we live and move and have our being. Jesus is the fountain of life, the light by which we see. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. The poor man calls out, and the LORD hears him; he saves him out of all his troubles. Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the LORD will take up their case and will exact life for life. All my bones will exclaim, "Who is like You, O LORD, who delivers the afflicted from the aggressor, the poor and needy from the robber?" But do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding? No one knows where to find it, for it is not found among the living. God alone understands the way to wisdom; he knows where it can be found, for he looks throughout the whole earth and sees everything under the heavens. And this is what he says to all humanity: ‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding." God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die.
