Oh To Be Wise Meditations

This morning, what’s on my heart is my worth to you. LORD, you gave everything for me. Your life lived was payment for my sins. Yes, you died and rose again, you live now in me to give me new life and redemption. I am worth the blood of Jesus and that blows my mind away. Because of me you became poor. Though you were rich, yet for my sakes you became poor, so that by your poverty you could make me rich. Jesus, how much is just one soul worth to you? I often think about that because you died for all the world when you could have just saved some. You covered everyone under the umbrella of grace to avoid the sin and judgment to come. I realize now I am not a cost to you LORD. I am a worth to you. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Jesus gained so much, for him to die was gain so that he could have the priceless souls of humanity. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. I can’t wait to be literally before him and give him the glory. Like little children proud of their parents so will the faithful be around the throne of heaven. What a priceless photo to have the full family of God together forever. Patriarchs of old, and loved ones we knew. All together now, say glory to Jesus our LORD!
