Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The expectation is as something grows it changes. Its different than what it was and is. Still at it's core its still the same, but change is inevitable. If we are not seeing change than something is stagnate and eventually will rot. Which is actually change, but a bad change. God help us to change for the good and not the bad. Amazing that God never changes but yet he is in total control of all growth. This is why the gift of Holy Spirit in our lives is so powerful. Though our bodies are wasting away our spirit is renewing at the same. That is the true power of the Gospel, and I see it in everything the LORD has made. The grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of our God change. God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. Praise God, he cannot deny who he is, he true to His word and His righteous character. He will not change his mind about his faithfulness to us. He changing us and renewing us, Jesus is committed to our sanctification.
