Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. The LORD wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind. He alone is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen Him, nor can anyone see Him. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen. Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages. God comes to judge his people. He shouts to the heavens and to the earth, gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. The heavens announce, "God is the judge, and he is always honest." The heavens proclaim that God is righteous, that he himself is judge. Meditate Ps. 7:10-12
