Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Thank you for going through this journey with me about the gift of faith. I have learned so much and there is so much left to pursue and grow in. I want to touch lastly on Spiritual gifts. Lets start in 1 Cor. 12:6, God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. I want to stop here and have you notice that the Holy Spirit gives great faith. All have different gifts God is pouring into us and they have there purpose. But man, how amazing is that to have the gift of faith be a blessing to another. And think about this: If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. Bammm! Oh to be wise in this LORD, to have faith to move mountains or to take that mountain like Caleb in Horeb. But to do it in all love and honor to the glory of your name! That is faith at its purest form. What a gift that gift of faith God has given us! I believe Jesus. Use faith as your vehicle to do your holy will in my life.
