Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Lead me Holy Spirit. Take me with you. Wherever you may go. Like the wind you move and bring life and vitality. The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit. Yes, blow over me and in me, lead me to the places I need to be. To the people I need to meet. My flesh leads me to things I do not want to do, but I do it anyway because I weak without Holy Spirit constantly flowing in me. The moment I lazily focus on the cares of this world and the pleasures of this life. Is where I become venerable to the flesh. I must meditate on the word daily so I can be renewing my mind away from the pull of this world and my selfish flesh. I stay still and know that Jesus is LORD, and he answers me with the still small voice of Holy Spirit. A running wind that flows down from heaven to earth and gives life to every living thing. He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles. O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways! Come with me fellow believer, lets follow the sweet Spirit of Christ. He will lead us to green pastures daily with flowing living water! He restores our soul for his name sake! Thank you Jesus.
