Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. Yes, people are waiting for the supernatural Kingdom of God to truly be revealed! Right now, through the new birth experience of the Gospel lives are being transformed and hearts are being made new. The redeemed have their Heavenly Fathers eyes and God flashes his love through mere humanity. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. But soon, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. On that day the true sons and daughters of God will be revealed, and the world will truly receive there King! To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, Jesus will give eternal life. God presides over heaven’s court; he pronounces judgment on the heavenly beings: “How long will you hand down unjust decisions by favoring the wicked? Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people. But these oppressors know nothing; they are so ignorant! They wander about in darkness, while the whole world is shaken to the core. I say, ‘You are gods; you are all children of the Most High. But you will die like mere mortals and fall like every other ruler.’ Rise up, O God, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.
