Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Knowledge must be cultivated so that it can be harvested, and then we reap the benefits. So many people are content with just having knowledge and never searching out the wisdom in things. So many great bad ideas have never been thought out and examined, we just listen to people that soothed our itching ears. God is the best person to check your knowledge on. His wisdom is timeless even with the new sins we invent in this modern era. We need holy restraint, a lot of ideas start off good and sin drives it askew. Think about a field so ripe to be harvested and no one their to gather. And even before you get to a strong and healthy crop someone needs to care and cultivate the land. First we need to find a fertile land before we begin planting. Where springs of water may be near by and green grass to protect the rich soil. I see so many people planting their hearts to knowledge in dry and weary places. And they wonder why life makes no sense and peace is hard to find. In Jesus we can find a fertile place to lay our foundations for doctrine and religion. It is our human duty and dignity to live by principle and morals. What better place to invest your heart and life than the rich soil of Gods word. Lets stop being lazy becoming ignorant over time to truth that stares us right in the face every day of our lives: What Is Truth? Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
