Oh To Be Wise Meditations
How can God build up the muscle of faith in you without tearing up the muscle that you think you have? He has to make you weak in order for you to be strong. Their are strongholds you have built up and allowed by your own strength that needs to be torn down. If not, you will always try to manipulate Gods hand in your life. We need total submission to the Will and Purpose of God so that we can have a faith that stands. Then God in Christ can build up a wall of trust in you that is not built up on your emotions or will but by the power of God! We are use to doing things in our own way and neglecting obedience. Faith works best obedience as we move and live and have our being. Things will come our way and we have to be ready to handle them and not run away in fear. God has given a spirit of power and love and a sound mind. Its starts with our thinking building up strength so that we can follow through with our actions. Tear down LORD the wicked desires in me, and build up a strength in me that will never be shaken. For I must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with me.
