Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Oh LORD help us to break down this Scripture Prov. 9:9 with each translation so that we can fully comprehend the Love of God in Christ, who is wisdom for us, wisdom unto salvation! Yes, here it is: Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning. Give opportunity to a wise man that again he may learn wisdom, and teach the righteous that he may progress beyond his teacher. If you have good sense, instruction will help you to have even better sense. And if you live right, education will help you to know even more. We need wisdom to live an abundant life. And it is the wise that take the time to store up knowledge. Common sense and success belong to the LORD. Insight and strength are His. Those who willfully separate themselves from God seek their own desire and start to quarrel against all sound wisdom. Becoming even unfriendly people who care only about themselves and they lash out at common sense. Listen, doing wrong leads to disgrace, and scandalous behavior brings contempt. The wisdom of God is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Notice that the first thing of wisdom from God is pure. There is a connection with holiness and wisdom that the darkness has not been able to understand. Morality is a big contributor to good and solid wisdom. Once sin, meaning what God says is wrong and evil gets involved, the wisdom becomes dumber. More duller, more infected with the ways of man and a wicked society. Oh wise person, continue to grow in wisdom and favor with God and man. Jesus says that as we grow in the Holy Spirit we will do greater things. The great Teacher from heaven, and we his shining pupils and disciples. Protect the integrity of Gods word in your life so that wisdom is always pure and raw and beneficial to you from God. Its so easy to pray amiss because of our own fleeting desires. Wisdom is better pure and holy for you than to drink it mixed with the wine of this world.
