Oh To Be Wise Meditations
LORD, I do not want to withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in my power to help them. If I can help my neighbor now, I don’t want to say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.” Give me the strength and grace to be salt and light for those around me. My nourishment comes from doing your will oh God, you sent me Jesus, and call me to finish the race of faith. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. There is so much good to be done in your name. Even in the midst of evil we are to do good and not withhold that blessing of love and truth to one another. With each small kindness and grace God is making all things new through us. It is the meek who will inherit the earth because they planted the love of Christ and will reap abundant joy in tears in the next life to come!
