Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Be careful, God knows our intentions. You can't get one over on him, even though sometimes you feel like you did. What we sowed we will reap, especially the ill intent. The nonchalant comment and the ignorant embellishment will come back and haunt us. We can trick others and manipulate people, but God know the intentions of the heart. Yes, He knows the secrets of the heart and if are thoughts are evil. Meditate on this: The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” The person who gets money dishonestly is like a bird that hatches eggs it didn't lay. In the prime of life he will lose his riches, and in the end he is nothing but a fool.
