Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Jesus, I feel like dancing in the moonlight of your love! We get it almost every night when that moon is big and bright, it's a supernatural delight. Your faithfulness through the day with the Sun shining bright in the midst of cloudy days. But at night when the light of the Sun retreats you are still faithful with your moonlight. Amen. Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. The Lord will send rain to water the seeds you have planted--your fields will produce more crops than you need, and your cattle will graze in open pastures. Even the oxen and donkeys that plow your fields will be fed the finest grain. In that day, when your enemies are slaughtered and the towers fall, there will be streams of water flowing down every mountain and hill. Then the LORD will bandage his people's injuries and heal the wounds he has caused. The moon will shine as bright as the sun, and the sun will shine seven times brighter than usual. It will be like the light of seven days all at once. So rejoice, yes even dance in the moonlight of Christ's love shining down in our hearts. We like our fun and we never fight You can't dance and stay uptight. It's a supernatural delight to be able to stay close to the presence Christ. Dancing with others believers in the moonlight of his love. Judgment and trials, tribulations and fears must come. But God's anger lasts only a moment. His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may last for the night, but there is a song of joy in the morning. Listen, to the shouts of joy in the dark of night. The moonlight has touched another soul tonight. I see dancing in the moonlight. Everybody's feelin' warm and bright. It's such a fine and natural sight. To see people in love with the Light in the middle of the night. Shine on us, oh glorious moonlight from Heaven.
