Oh To Be Wise Meditations
When God curses something its not a mystery or magic. Its him removing his protection and blessing. The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does. The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. His Presence is the blessing we need daily so that we can avoid living under the curse of sin and death. Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible. The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted. Amazing how God will remove the blessing of his presence and give you what you sinfully want as you live continually in a curse. Lets learn to live in the light of Gods love and presence, avoiding disobedience and pride. The LORD has so much for us if only we need seek the blessing of his presence in our hearts and lives.
