Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The love of Christ poured out on the Cross enables us to love on all kinds of people. No matter what race, culture, or status. The Body of Christ can unite under his dependable and consistent mercy and grace. We don't have to divide so much on things like Jew or Gentile. Faith in Christ Jesus is what makes each of us equal with each other, whether you are a Jew or a Greek, a slave or a free person, a man or a woman. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. No matter how much social engineering is attempted, we cannot embrace past culture and ensure seamless social integration. It is not possible to erase the past. It is possible though to forgive and bring a fresh start to our relationships. This is what Christ did and declared over all people. Making it possible to forgive and create an inclusive culture that embraces all people. The body of Christ is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. Connected together in love and truth.
