Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Paul said to the Thessalonians, we offer ourselves as model for you, that you might follow our example. We must live our lives as example and model of Christ. People need to see what a man or woman of God looks like submitted to Christ. Listen to this Supervisors Prayer I found that speaks of being an example:
LORD, when I am wrong make me willing to change. When I am right make me easy to live with.
So strengthen me that the power of my example will far exceed the authority of my rank. Brothers and sisters we should live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse us of doing wrong, they may see our good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. Our example is so important. Its how so many people first see God their Father through the eyes of his sons and daughters.
