Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Endure with people. We are called to endure with people and be long suffering. Not just to give a hand out or a good word and have a nice day. There are people that need our time and prayer. What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? LORD Jesus help us to persevere and to be winsome for souls. It takes time and dedication to live out the Gospel. It's more than just saying it but doing it that matters. The power of the Gospel shines bright when we shine our light into the darkness of someone's life.
