Oh To Be Wise Meditations
(Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” John 4:29.) ( As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. Mark 5:18-20) These are stories in the Scriptures where Jesus leaves two people blown away by the power of the Gospel. One is told everything she ever did and receives the everlasting water of Christ! The other is free from the bondage of the past and addictions manifesting as demons. Both had a message to share with their communities of the power and love of Jesus. Amen. We have a message to share of what Jesus has done for us. Though we still go through trials and tribulations we can still trust in the message of the Gospel. Share today: All is well! All is well! Angels and men rejoice for darkness fell into the dawn of love's light. Let there be peace on earth and goodwill to men. Christ has come born in a manger and is Risen today! Lift up your voices and sing Born is now Emmanuel. Born is our Lord and Savior Jesus in our hearts and minds! Our lives will never be the same in Jesus name!
