Oh To Be Wise Meditations

When you live a life pleasing to God you will not be pleasing to be. Many people do not want to be bother and are consumed with the cares of this life. They live for themselves and will stop at nothing if you get in their way. To live a life pleasing to Jesus will offend many people. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. We need to ask God to give us complete knowledge of his will and to give us spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way we live will always honor and please the Lord, and our lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, we will grow as we learn to know God better and better. Test and prove what pleases the Lord. People are fickle and change with the times. One day this way and another day another way. Old trends come back as well as common sense. What is evil will be proved evil, God not will not be mocked. Please God rather than man.
