Oh To Wise Meditations

Its a lot easier to knock things down than to lift things up again. Think about that in this year. The things we have knocked down because of pride, selfishness, and folly. How will we pick things up again. Some of these burdens are to heavy to lift by ourselves. Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Many are the afflictions of the righteous. For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he still gets up; but the wicked stumble in bad times. When we fall down this is one of the hardest things to lift. We knock ourselves down so easily but we don't get back up so easily either. The LORD sustains the humble, but casts the wicked to the ground. The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways.
