Proverbs of 38 yr old man
LORD, as I sit in the vomit of my own sins. I realize I gave up the birthright of Christ for a measly piece of sinful desire. I ate to my fill and now I sit full in my own guilt and shame. But I meant every word that I said, when I said that I love you, I meant I'd love you forever! So I am going keep on loving you cause its the only thing I want to do. I don't even want to sleep but say watchful through the night. I just want to keep on loving you as the dawn appears and your joy comes in the morning. You clean me up and wash away my sins. You tell me to go and sin no more. To follow you before something worse happens to me. Jesus, you know all about my past and my horrible mistakes. How I played dead for some many years but never truly bled. Never allowing your forgiveness to cover my sins. Always trying to prove my works while neglecting the growth of my faith. But it was your kindness that has lead me to true repentance. And it is your love that keeps on loving me, sustaining me, and strengthening me to come up out of the filth my sins. When you told me you loved me on the Cross I knew then it was forever! Because when you died you rose again into my heart and life. Yes, just as you walked out of the tomb of sin and death. So I walk by faith out of the pit of my sins into the newness of life you've given me. I want to keep on loving you the way you keep on loving me. I meant every word that I said LORD, when I said that I love you, I meant I'd love you forever! Help my unbelief.
