Proverbs of a 36 yr old man
There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, yet is not washed from its filth. People who think they are pure when they are as filthy as they can be. They claim that they know God, but their actions deny it. They are hateful and disobedient, not fit to do anything good. The faithless live at ease. The Lord plants them like trees, and lets them prosper and produce fruit. Yet even when they praise Him, they don't mean it. His Name is ever on their lips, but far from their conscience. Everything is pure for someone whose heart is pure. But nothing is pure for an unbeliever with a dirty mind. That person's mind and conscience are destroyed. Do those things that prove you have turned to God and have changed the way you think and act. Produce fruit, then, in keeping with repentance.
