Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Remain in the Fathers love as Jesus remains in his love. Let God rub off on you. Its one thing to search the scriptures and allow it to be a tutor for your life. But its another thing to search the scriptures daily and see Jesus in them. He is the word of God come to life and is our only hope to overcome sin in our lives. We need God’s character. His qualities do not grow in our lives because we work hard. Instead, they are like the good fruit that a tree produces over time.They come, as we trust Jesus and grow in our relationship with him. The Holy Spirit brings these qualities in our lives. He replaces our old character with God’s character. Jesus says, "Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want, and your prayer will be answered." He has told us these things so that we will be filled with his joy. Yes, our joy will overflow!
