Higher Learning. What a waste of talent to have a God given gift and not improve upon it. Or to have ability and drive but squander it through neglect and doubt. More than any other creature on the earth we have the ability to learn and create. Very different from trained behavior and natures innate sense. Especially in the things of God, their is one Spirit working in all believers. And as one body we can edify one another. Paul says to the Philippians, "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. We are Christ's disciples learning how to use our gifts and talents for the Lord. Devoting ourselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives. So learning is not just about figuring out your talents and gifts for selfish reasons. No, its about growing in righteousness learning from Christ, and developing our raw potential into a weapon for the Lords hand. You may have a talent or skill that you are not confident in, honor God with it and He will cultivate it as a tree of life in you. Giving residual blessings beyond what you can ask or think. There is a higher learning available to us found in the Holy Spirit. Bring your gifts and talents to the Lord, and even if you don't know either of them yet like me, bring your raw potential. God loves a good malleable lump of clay.
