Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD's judgments are true, and righteous altogether. Fearing the LORD leads to life, and one who does so will live satisfied; he will not be afflicted by calamity. Yes, The fear of the LORD prolongs your days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. Whoever fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. Through your love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD evil is avoided. Do you want to avoid sin and death? Reverence for the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.
