You know those public service announcements and that eerie alert that accompanies it. This is only a test, this is only a test. Its to prepare the public in case of a real emergency obviously. But it strikes fear and dread in peoples hearts just hearing that sound of trouble coming. Now what if we let faith arise at the sound of alarm. If we let courage grip us and lead us to wisdom. I will not fear the terror that stalks in the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day, nor the plagues that roam the dark and epidemics that strike at noon. I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I won't be afraid. I will arise in faith shining for Christ. The light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. This life is a constant test of faith. May God give us his peace to live victorious.
