Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Why does misery love company? It can't just suffer alone. No, it invites bitterness and loneliness to the pity party. Takes the good things and turns it bad, working all things together for an untimely demise. The way of peace it has not known. It has been said that alcohol is for the dying, and wine for those in bitter distress. Let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more. Many sit in darkness and in deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery. This because they had exasperated the words of God, and provoked the counsel of the most High. Worn out from working as slaves to sin with no one coming to help, no wonder misery loves company! Cry out LORD Help, in the midst of all your troubles and distress. And He will lead you out of misery's darkness and gloom, snapping your chains. For He has shattered gates of bronze and cut off bars of iron. Fools, because of their rebellious way, and because of their sins, were afflicted. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! God in Christ sent out his Living Word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
