Any regrets of the past? Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of sin. Be proud that our conscience is clear by the blood of Jesus. We have been filled with God-given holiness and sincerity. It is not by human wisdom that we have new life but by God's kindness. For now the winter is past; the rain has ended and gone away. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air. The fig trees are forming young fruit, and the fragrant grapevines are blossoming! This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.
