Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Death is cold. I remember moments after my father passed away how cold his feet got. I kissed them fervently as I wanted to honor him with my painful tears. Death brings a coldness like nothing else. Everything stops as it was and is cut off from this world. Amazing how blood circulates through the heart and through the body, keeping us at a sustainable temperature. Once we lose that life in us, death brings it's cold rigor mortise. As a witness to all the nations, Jesus says a sign of the last days will be the increase of wickedness, and the love of most will grow cold. The one who perseveres to the end will be saved. Such will be the spread of evil that many people's love will grow cold. Like cold feet the hearts of many people will stops its moral flow. This is why lukewarm hearts will not persevere, and only scorching hearts will be able to beat at a moral pace. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. And since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have a genuine love for your brothers and sisters, love one another deeply, from a pure heart. We need a new heart and mind, if not our hearts will become stone cold because of the curse of sin. Death is coming, and it is already at work within the members of your body. We are people of flesh and blood. This is why Jesus became one of us. He died to destroy the devil, who had power over death. Jesus has a new heart for me and you, and its flow and beat comes from Him. Death is cold, and lukewarm love will eventually grow cold without the gift of Christ Himself. Only a hot, fervent and moral beating heart can endure to the end and be saved.
