Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Worry is a heavy burden weighing a person down. But a good word is encouraging and always cheers up. Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy. Even if you have no joy for the moment, share in the joy of the LORD and let it be your strength. For it was the joy set before him that he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; so that you won’t become weary and give up. Listen to my heart, The LORD God gives me the right words to encourage the weary. Each morning he awakens me eager to learn his teaching; he made me willing to listen and not rebel or run away. I learn that we must have sympathy, for people fear many things. Life is hard and a person who worries is constantly sad. As Christians, we should look after other people. We should speak words of kindness and sympathy. We should speak words that encourage. We should tell people to trust God. Then we shall bring joy into people’s lives, the joy of the LORD.
