Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
The trip has been paid for, just be there when its time to leave. And it does matter how you live your life. You may be too busy in the things of the world and forget to prepare for departure. Or by your own pride and selfishness you want to pay the trip yourself. You do not like hand outs and want to earn this trip to heaven. Still many will assume that heaven's boat can wait for them. If the ship hasn't sailed yet they have more than enough time to hop onboard. The trip of salvation has been bought and paid for by Jesus Christ our LORD. Soon and very soon we are heading to heavens shores on rivers of life. In our world, rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. The Holy Spirit is rushing water that is overflowing in us. Soon these living waters will bring us to the seas of heaven where joy and peace are waiting for us to pull up on shore. Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear. For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb. Be born again ready, the trip of the ages has been paid for.
