A Broken Will. There is a wrestling of flesh and blood that we must avoid. Especially the wrestling of flesh and blood within. The sinful nature of humanity is against God and is restless in all it's ways. It's never satisfied, with a desire to do it's own will apart from God. Throughout the fall of man the Spirit has strived to contend with the flesh of man. But their heart's have grown deceitfully wicked, even there very imagination and thoughts are only evil continually. This is why Jesus came to overcome the sinful nature of man. God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. You need Christ to break your will, so that everything is about His Will and not yours. Wrestle with Him in Spirit and He will break the will of the flesh in you. Can you not pray for one hour rings in my ears. Jesus wants to strive with us the same way He wanted his disciples to contend with Him in Gethsemane. The sinful flesh is no match for the Spirit of Christ in us. You need a broken will so that the flesh can be truly put to death and real spirit and life can begin. Get down on your knees and grapple with the LORD! He will go for your hip and put you in total submission to His Will. Imagine after wrestling in prayer what a broken will can do for your hear and life? Born again, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
