Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

People with bad tempers are always in trouble. Pamper them and they will become ungrateful and stubborn. If you churn milk you get butter; if you pound on your nose, you get blood, and if you stay angry, you get in trouble. We must allow the hot-tempered person to pay the penalty for there quick temper and lack of self control. For if you deliver them and do not let them learn from the consequences of their action, you will have enabled them by constantly rescuing them over and over again. And in the end you will be the one with the horrible grief. When they see what you do, they will learn nothing. When they hear what you say, they will not understand. Otherwise, they would turn to you and ask for forgiveness. Same with a child. Discipline your children while there is hope. Otherwise you will ruin their lives. Do not be a willing party to their death. Get them all the advice and instruction you can, so they can be wise the rest of their life. Again, Discipline your children, and they will give you peace of mind and will make your heart glad. Correct your children, and they will be wise; children out of control disgrace their mothers. Amazing how correction gives revelation to people. Without revelation people cast off restraint and run wild in anger. Blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction and is humbled by it.
