Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

A person who sells sex is like a deep hole. A married person who tempts you is like a narrow well. Wells and holes are dangerous whether they are deep or narrow. And sex is dangerous, unless you are with your husband or wife. Sex can cause many troubles. Just as a robber waits to attack, so is the adulterer as dangerous as a robber. Keep to a path far from them, do not go near the door of their house, lest you lose your honor to others and your dignity to one who is cruel, lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich the house of another. At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent. You will say, “How I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction! Why, oh child of faith, be intoxicated with another person's spouse? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward lover? The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them; the cords of their sins hold them fast. For lack of discipline they will die, led astray by their own great folly. Don't miss this:

Drink water from your own cistern, which is to have sexual desire from a pure marriage relationship. Then you will have fresh running water from your own wellspring. Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone? You should reserve it for yourself and never share it with strangers. Let your fountain be blessed with the rewards of fidelity.
