Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Spilt Blood. And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. Then the curtain hanging in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split apart. Look, all I can see is the spilt blood of the precious lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! It is stained all over the Cross and soaked on the ground. Those who pierced him are there, many who mocked him are there, and they trample this precious blood of sacrifice. The blood that speaks louder than Abel’s and demands both justice and mercy. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? But I also see the ones who loved and followed Jesus all the days of there lives. They took there filthy garments soiled in sin and soaked it in his blood. They cover themselves, there guilt and there shame. For Christs love covers a multitude of sins. Yes, cover one another with the shedding of Christ’s blood. For He is alive and risen. For the blood that the enemy has trampled is alive. There is life in the precious blood of Jesus and vengeance is the LORD’s. Jesus is a Living Sacrifice for all who believe in him, and they will not perish but have eternal life. He is calling all his redeemed to be a living sacrifice, for Emmanuel’s blood runs through every believers veins. It was the joy set before him to endure the cross for his loved ones, and even for those who trampled over the blood. Yes, it was a joy suffering. They thought they were killing him but he was actually forgiving them. And because He lives we live. And because He lives all who continue to trampled the blood will soon be shaken. For when God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also. For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people.” Woe to the ones who have blood stained soles. They trampled the blood instead of covering the door posts of there hearts. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Jesus is Risen! Look, He’s coming on a white horse with a robe dipped in blood. Study Lev. 17:11
