Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
The wife of your youth. May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth, but only the LORD can give an understanding and sensible wife. It isn't good for the man to live alone, that is why God made woman to be a suitable partner for him. Life is short, and you love your wife, so enjoy being with her. This is what you are supposed to do as you struggle through life on this earth. Say to her: Girl, you stole my heart and changed it. Took all of my plans and rearranged them. Now I finally know what amazing grace is and when I look into your eyes I see my whole life.
What you say we put us down some roots? Find a house up on a hill and travel around the world. Put some pictures on the shelf as we hold each other close and keep the faith. Raise some kids with our last name as we watch sunsets fading from the front porch. Every day I'll love you better than the day before. We will build this home together, weather any storm. And as the years keep rolling you will be right where I belong, together with the wife of my youth. She will get all my time, till all my time is through. It's a blessing to grow old with you, praise God I am growing old with you. There are so many that never get the chance too. For the LORD has made marriage to be beautiful in his time. We can't see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. But as we grow old we bear witness to the wonderful love of Christ changing and renewing us. Getting us ready for the real marriage and super of the Lamb. Jesus our true Groom and we his Bride for eternity.
