Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Perhaps we need to look at the trials, troubles, and tribulations of life in a new light. Instead of complaining about them we should consider them valuable experiences that qualify us for the tasks God has planned for us. This takes real Christian maturity to look at suffering in this way. Having a learned obedience that comes through the experiences of life here in this world. If we go through these trying times in faith and obedience, we will be ready for what God has in store for us. Remember, you are a work in progress. You are being perfected by suffering for the tasks God planned for you from all eternity. During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. Everything belongs to God, and all things were created by his power. So God did the right thing when he made Jesus perfect by suffering, as Jesus led many of God's children to be saved and to share in his glory.
