Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

God is my witness. He knows the hard work I have put into the secret place. The long nights in prayer and meditation. The reading of the word till I fall asleep on his lap. I feel stronger and wiser ready to face what may come my way. Though I may slip and fall like before. I now have a strong foundation built in Christ and a fellowship with His Body that lifts me up again. God is my witness. Something is different about me. I can feel the presence of God move within me. I believe He can do all things. I live with a purpose and passion that I pray people see in me. Though doubters and skeptics see my failures I hope they witness the love of God in my eyes. I want to testify but it hard through these tears that I cry. So much has changed in me, God is my witness. I have seen the lost get found and I have seen the found get lost. I have witnessed lives being transformed by the love of God. And I have also witnessed hearts hardened against God even unto death. Life is hard, and living in it in front of the watching world is humbling. No one knows fully each heart and life. Only God is a witness to all. He knows what you’re going through and where you have been. He carries justice on his sleeves but is still rich in mercy. He loves to hear you say please come help me! Look, I know it’s in our nature to condemn but listen to my heart and not just my words. Like King David said, I have never seen the righteous begging for bread. I have seen it with my own eyes, with my own life, God provides. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning the light, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. I can testify to this great Light because His Light lives in me. Jesus is the Light of the world! On the hill of Cross he shown brightly for all to see! His life is the light for all men! Shine Jesus shine. Shine through me. Those who believe are all witnesses.
