Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
There is no wisdom that can defeat God. There is no knowledge that can defeat God. There is no plan that can defeat God. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! God arises. His enemies are scattered, and those who hate Him flee His presence. As smoke vanishes and as wax melts before the fire, so the wicked perish from before God. Look, the kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. For the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?" Child of God, The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts. He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. He will drink from a brook along the way, and so he will lift his head high. He will be victorious. Jesus is victorious! We as believers drink from that same brook of living water lifting our heads high in praises to Jesus our LORD and King. Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Submit to God’s Royal Son, or he will become angry, and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him. There is no wisdom, no understanding, no counsel that can prevail against the LORD. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness". Yes, He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. But blessed are all who take refuge in him.
