Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

My Sword. My Weapon. The physical bible is but a sheath for holding the sword of the Spirit in me. With my mouth I speak the word of God as it is written. The Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of my heart. It is living and active in me. I love my sword, I love my weapon that I use in spiritual warfare. I become one with the word in my flesh and my spirit. Daily the word is converting my soul into a weapon for the LORD God Almighty. The Sword of the Spirit is an extremely durable weapon forged in the fiery trial of Christ sufferings. A favored weapon of Jesus for spiritual warfare. It is written is the words he swung, and He is writing in his law of love in our hearts so that we can use the sword of the Spirit as well. But only those of sound moral character and integrity may lift and swing this word effectively. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. God in Christ has provided for us Spiritual Armor as we come before the Great Throne to give him honor and loyalty with out lives. The King of heavens armies then trains our fingers for battle. Our hearts and minds become one with Christ Jesus. His Sword, His Weapon, becomes My Sword, My Weapon! Feels so strong in my hand with a confidence in my heart. This sword is both an offensive and defensive weapon used by warriors of Christ. It is a weapon belonging to the Holy Spirit. All Christian soldiers need the same rigid training to know how to properly handle the Sword of the Spirit, “which is the word of God.” Since every Christian is on the spiritual battle with the satanic and evil forces of this world, we need to know how to handle the Word properly. Only then will it be an effective defense against evil, but it will also be an offensive weapon we use to demolish strongholds of error and falsehood. Look! It I see the great king Solomon in his carriage, escorted by sixty warriors, the noblest of Israel, all of them wearing the sword, all experienced in battle, each with his sword at his side, prepared for the terrors of the night. Make me a soldier faithfully tried by your holy carriage as you enter the battles of this world.
