The safe route of comfort is intoxicating and inmoving, but it doesn't develop our character. Or lead to possibilities. Sometimes you just gotta get up and dance in the Light of His Presence. Even if you feel you are making a fool out of yourself. Step out of your comfort zone for the LORD and his purposes. There are so many leaps of faith God is calling us to take but we are too comfortable in our own flesh. Look at Peter who came out of the boat in faith walking on water to Jesus. May we be so bold in sharing our faith, hope, and love with others in this drowning world. For God has a time for everything. Let us be ready to hear his call of faith over fearful doubts. There will be times to be silent and to mourn. But may The Spirit of Christ lead us in this new year of when to speak up and when to dance. Amen. The Spirit of the LORD God has taken control of me! The LORD has chosen and sent me to tell the oppressed the good news, to heal the brokenhearted, and to announce freedom for prisoners and captives. This is the year when the LORD God will show kindness to us and punish our enemies. The LORD has sent me to comfort those who mourn, to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the LORD to glorify Him.
