Good morning brother,
Topic: The discipline of friendship.
Read Scripture: John 15:13-15, 2 Cor. 7:6-7, 1 Peter 4:9, Heb. 13:2, 1 Samuel 14-18 some verses.
Thoughts: We must set ourselves against the cultural consensus and pursue and practice friendship if we are to be all Gods wants us to be. God Word demands a countercultural manliness that is capable of deep friendship. For Christians it is relationship with God and His People. God's truth is most effectively learned and lived in relationships. Friendships hold the promise of grace!
What does prayer have to do with your friendships?
What can we learn from Christs statements about being a friend?
If your married, is your wife your most intimate friend?

”Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.“
John 15:13-15
05:28:51 From Manny Ramos to Everyone:
Be a fishers of men. Smell of fish, friend of sinners.
05:29:05 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
”After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return home to his family. And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.“
1 Samuel 18:1-4
05:29:44 From Manny Ramos to Everyone:
There is a friend that sticks like a brother. Let’s work on being friends that grow like brothers.
05:32:22 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
”But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.“
2 Corinthians 7:6-7

”Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.“
