Good morning brother,
Topic: How to live your new life with Christ.
Read Bible: Colossians 3:1-11
Thoughts: First, Paul addresses topics related to Christian conduct (Colossians 3:1–17). This begins with a focus on the new life believers have in Jesus (Colossians 3:1–4). This focus involves Christians giving attention to godly, spiritual ideas, rather than sinful, earthly ones. Paul uses strong terminology when describing how believers are to remove certain sins from their lives: they are to "put to death," spiritually speaking, all earthly, sinful desires (Colossians 3:5–11). Paul gives specific examples of sins Christians are meant to avoid, including sexual immorality and slander.
”And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.“
Colossians 2:15
Christ makes the body strong. God makes the body grow.
Morning brothers. Jesus loves you so much!
The Cross is the hope of Christians. The Cross is the resurrection of the dead. The Cross is the way of the lost. The Cross is the savior of the lost. The Cross is the staff of the lame. The Cross is the guide of the blind. The Cross is the strength of the weak. The Cross is the doctor of the sick. The Cross is the aim of the priests. The Cross is the hope of the hopeless. The Cross is the freedom of the slaves. The Cross is the power of the kings. The Cross is the water of the seeds. The Cross is the consolation of the bondsmen. The Cross is the source of those who seek water. The Cross is the cloth of the naked.
Let’s not get a BIG Head and Puffed up! Let’s hide the WORD in Our Hearts . There is NO big “I” ONLY OUR BIG GOD ALMIGHTY!!! 💪🏾❤️🗣️🧠
”“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.“
John 15:9-15
”Remember that your old nature has died with Christ. So the powerful spirits that rule this world no longer have any authority over you. You do not need to serve them, because you do not belong to this world now. You do not need to obey their rules.“
Colossians 2:20
Wow,verse 10
So glad someone touched on "put on, put off"
”Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.“
James 5:16
”So you should tell each other about any wrong things that you have done. Then you will be able to pray for each other, so that God makes you well again. When a good person prays to God, God does powerful things.“
James 5:16 EASY
