Good morning brother,
The love of this world compared to the love of Jesus.
Scripture verse: Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 1 John 2:15
Thoughts: Our foolish pride comes from this world, and so do our selfish desires and our desire to have everything we see. None of this comes from the Father.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense. The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin. Proverbs 10:12-14
