Good morning brother,
Topic: I sought the LORD, You sought then you saw.
Prayer Verses: Psalm 77, Isaiah 65:1-5, Luke 5:12-13
Thoughts:
Psalm 77 associated with Asaph (1 Chronicles 16:5–7) often follow a pattern of gloom and brooding (Psalm 73:2–3; 74:1; 79:5) which resolve to confidence in the Lord (Psalm 73:16–18; 74:12; 79:13). This song is another example. Jeduthun was a worship musician and contemporary of Asaph (1 Chronicles 25:1–6). This song may be set his music.
Asaph begins by expressing intense, honest angst. No details are given about why, but this issue keeps him awake at night. Prayer and seeking God's will only makes Asaph's misery more intense. This is what sometimes happens when we first try to understand circumstances in our lives. At first, we are so focused on what we don't like that all we see are the negatives.
05:05:54 From Harry to Everyone:
We wonder if God really cares, or how we can possibly accept these events. The second half of this psalm shows that Asaph doesn't wallow there for long. For now, he is overwhelmed by misery and frustration (Psalm 77:1–9).
Once Asaph remembers all that God has shown and done, his attitude changes.

05:09:42 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
“I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me. When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted. I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint. You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak. I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; I remembered my songs in the night. My heart meditated and my spirit asked:”
Psalms 77:1-6
05:10:07 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
““Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?” Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.””
Psalms 77:7-12

05:11:04 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
“Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed. The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen. You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.”
Psalms 77:13-20
05:16:34 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
““I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations— a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat; who say, ‘Keep away; don’t come near me, for I am too sacred for you!’ Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day.”
Isaiah 65:1-5
05:17:49 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
“While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.”
Luke 5:12-13

My prayer request:
To hunger for the LORD everyday
I’ve been feeling so far from God.
Spiritually empty
And it’s reflecting in all aspects of my life.
I feel like I’ve been failing in all areas in my life.
My household is being affected by it.
Wife and kids and all.
I’m unintentionally running from God and I don’t want to.
The enemy is attacking my home and I feel helpless. I’m crying out.
The enemy has me so distracted, so distracted to the point that it’s tearing my home down.
I’ve struggled these past 2 days just to make it here on battle prayer. As I lay here next to my son as he sleeps.
