Good morning brother. Woke up with a heavy heart this morning, but the Lord rained down his presence during battle prayer. Awesome time in te Lord.
Good Morning Brother,
Day one: The Coming Rain
Zechariah 10:1
James 5:7
Hosea 6:3
Thoughts: Spiritual blessings had been promised under figurative allusions to earthly plenty. Seasonable rain is a great mercy, which we may ask of God when there is most need of it, and we may look for it to come. We must in our prayers ask for mercies in their proper time. Also, waiting is hard when you're suffering. James uses the analogy of a farmer for encouragement. He asks his readers to think of how hardworking farm hands have to wait for the payoff of their efforts. All of the struggle and strain, through all the stages of the growing season, eventually lead to the glorious harvest. Be patient like that, James says. The harvest will come

“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone. Zechariah 10:1
Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. James 5:7
“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3
Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.”
James 5:17
““I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up. Amos 4:7
Hosea 10:12 NLT — I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

2 Corinthians 1:5 NLT — For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.
The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Deuteronomy 28:12
If clouds are full of water, they pour rain on the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there it will lie. Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.”
Ecclesiastes 11:3-5
Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.”
Ecclesiastes 11:6
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.””
John 7:38
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. John 4:14
“They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain. Job 29:23
When a king’s face brightens, it means life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring. Proverbs 16:15
May he be like rain falling on a mown field, like showers watering the earth. Psalms 72:6
There will be a time of judgment in the future, but, until then, God graciously gives good things, even to those who hate Him. He gives the blessing of rain to the just and the unjust alike. Wicked people, people who mock Him and even deny His existence still get to enjoy good weather, good food, the love of family, and a great many other things. Since God is so generous with His enemies, then we should be as well.
Cumulonimbus clouds
Otherwise known as The King of Clouds, cumulonimbus clouds exist through the entire height of the troposphere, usually characterised by their icy, anvil-shaped top.
* Height of base: 1,100 - 6,500 ft
* Shape: fibrous upper edges, anvil top
* Latin: cumulus - heap; nimbus - rain cloud
* Precipitation: heavy rain and thunderstorms
It is important to note that God doesn’t ignore sin, and His holy standard is high—perfection, in fact (see Matthew 5:48). When God restores the people of Israel, He first deals with their sin problem. The Messiah would die as a sacrifice to pay for sins; thus, the nation would no longer be in bondage to the Law of Moses (the Old Covenant) or the consequences of breaking that covenant. God would forgive their sins as part of a New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31). That blessing of forgiveness from sin through the sacrifice of the Messiah would be not just for one nation but for all the families of the earth (Genesis 12:3b). The Messiah would be like the latter and former rain for Israel and Judah (Hosea 6:3), and He would also be the water of life for all who would believe in Him (John 4:13–14).

The Blessing of Rain

It will rain here tomorrow, and I can hardly wait. I love a nice rainstorm. We could use the blessing of rain here–it’s been dry for a while. It feels like the earth is just waiting to explode. The trees want their buds to burst; the grass wants to pop with lush green color, and all the spring plants are trying hard to push through the dry dirt. The Bible talks about the blessing of rain too, in a few different contexts.
Rain Mean Blessings
“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.” Isaiah 44:3-4 (NIV).
Isaiah had just finished a scathing tongue lashing to God’s people. He urged them to repent but then fills them with these words of consolation and hope of the blessings coming their way.
These same words hold true for us today, and for future generations.
The vision of a dry, thirsty land symbolizes those who sincerely desire the blessing of God’s Spirit in their lives. Just as the rain comes and refreshes, cleanses, and makes the ground fruitful, the blessing of His Spirit brings these same qualities into our lives.
Thank you for another great day of Zoom Battle Prayer.
